A QUARTER WITH A NEW DISCOVERY: "EXPLORING TECHS AND WEB DESIGNING"

During this quarter, I have learned and discovered new things, particularly about MS homepage design and cabling. I gained more knowledge about how to structure and design a homepage effectively this lesson help me to understand and create a better web design as well as I also learned about different types of cables, their uses, and how they are essential for setting up networks and devices properly.

However, I also faced some challenges and difficulties. One of the main difficulties was understanding the technical aspects of cabling, such as identifying the right cables for specific tasks and ensuring proper connections. In MS frontpage design, I struggled with layout choices and making sure the design was both user-friendly and efficiency based on the layout id been created.

To overcome these challenges, I practiced more and understand to  help it when needed. I watched tutorials, read resources, and asked for guidance from my teachers/Pre service teacher or classmates. Through continuous practice and learning, I was able to improve and develop my understanding and skills.

Moving forward, I will continue to enhance my knowledge in these areas by exploring more advanced topics in web design and networking. I will also apply what I have learned to real-life activities to strengthen my skills and gain more hands-on experience.

Echoes of the Past, Dancing through history: Celebrating the 123rd years of ISNHS

Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) celebrated its 123rd Foundation Anniversary with a series of vibrant events that showcased the talents and unity of its students and teachers. It has a lot of activities and events happening that makes me enjoy in the school, including a High School Day parade, a field demonstrations contest, every club booth that has so many things to buy such as keychains, clips, and others, and a Battle of the Bands competition.

In the field demonstration contest , every grade level of students delivered fascinating performances with highly coordinated choreography and colorful outfits representing their respective groups. We performed about the LGBTQ pride and with the music we use the Lady Gaga’s song. The champion of the boys field demonstration was the grade 9, and for the girls, it was the grade 8. Even we didnt win we performed very well. Despite the competitive spirit, students from other grade levels also performed a great deal of their own choreographies. It emphasized that the event was more about celebrating their abilities and fostering unity than winning awards. The Battle of the Bands further energized the celebration, featuring powerful vocals, guitar riffs, and drum beats that had the crowd cheering and singing along. It has enjoyable moments for the students of ISNHS because they perform very well, and they have to show their talents. This competition highlighted the diverse musical talents within the ISNHS community and contributed to the festive events that took part of the anniversary.

These events not only commemorated the school’s rich history since its establishment in 1902 but also reinforced a sense of pride and camaraderie among students, teachers , and the alumni. The annual Foundation Anniversary serves as a testament to ISNHS’s enduring legacy and its commitment to nurturing talent and unity within its community. With this event, we create a memorable moment that honors the alma mater.

WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society

Gender and Equality and inclusivity means no matter their gender, it should have fair rights, respect and oppourtunies for everyone. It highlights the importance of engaging togetherness to create equal  and inclusive world. It also reminds us that no matter what gender we are the responsibility one group but of everyone in this society.

The WE shows that achieving  gender equality requires a teamwork in the families, schools, workplaces and goverments, it helps everyone treat fairly. In the past years, people especially women and marginalized women have experienced discrimination in terms of employment, education and political roles and positions. Inclusive Society is also one for everyone, no matter what gender, background, perspective or background, race must be respect and valued. Teaching schools and  workplaces  about Gender Equality and inclusive society would help to prevent and reduce discrimination.

This remind us that Equality in Gender  is a  fundamental role for the better society. Working together, supports each other  and teaching everyone about equality, creates and build more better society for the future generations. With respects, fairness and inclusivity, everyone have the oppourtunities to succeed in their life.

REFLECTION THIS 3RD QUARTER JOURNEY

Throughout this 3rd quarter, I have gained a lot of knowledge and skills in HTML and CSS, and Community-Based Research (CBR).Each of these areas has provided me with new insights and challenges that have helped me grow as a student and a problem solver. In learning HTML and CSS, I discovered how websites are structured and styled. I learned about different HTML elements, tags, and attributes that form the foundation of a webpage. Through CSS, I explored various styling techniques, such as using colors, fonts, layouts, and responsive design.

One of the most exciting discoveries was how CSS media queries allow websites to adjust their appearance on different screen sizes, making them more accessible and user-friendly. In creating web design, I use HTML and CSS in order to have a good web design and to make the gathering data more understandable. Community-Based Research taught me that gathering and analyzing real-world data is crucial for understanding community issues and creating meaningful solutions through activities like surveys and data interpretation, which require patience, critical thinking, and teamwork. Despite these learnings, I also encountered several challenges. In HTML and CSS, making my web designs responsive and visually appealing was difficult at first. In Community-based Research organizing and analyzing large amounts of data was overwhelming, especially ensuring that the research findings were accurate and meaningful .In our CCBR we have learned a lot about the challenges and struggles of the business owners and farmers in our community despite of the calamities they faced ,but they are very resilient to overcome this.

Moving on, I will continue enhancing my web development, research, and coding skills by practicing regularly, exploring new tools, and taking on more complex projects. I also plan to apply my research skills to real-life situations while staying curious and open to learning. This quarter has been a journey of discovery and ha amazing experience with new challenges.

The Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred. • One legend says that St. Valentine wrote the first "valentine" greeting to a young girl he fell in love with while in prison
Hearts
  • The heart shape is thought to symbolize the heart's chambers, or the heart's appearance in an echocardiogram. It may also resemble the shape of a bird or reptile heart.
  • In Europe, lovers give each other Saint Valentine's Keys as a romantic symbol, inviting the recipient to unlock the giver's heart.
Cupid
  • The winged infant male Cupid is a symbol of love and affection between romantic partners.

In my experience, it has a better feeling of being able to enjoy and celebrate with my lfamily by sharing the joy and love with each other. Not only that, it also helps me to gain more time to rest and relax. During Christmas, I spend time in the kitchen cooking and preparing food like barbeque, macaroni and spaghetti for my family  for the Christmas Eve. I also receive a amazing gift from them.

Another part of my holiday experience is also sleeping. I most spend time in sleeping, because sleeping helped me to gain more energy. Waking up in the morning without any pressure makes me feel better. It also reminds me of the importance of every family and the ways we show care for one another, even in simple acts, not only in the holidays but also in everyday life. We also had our sleep over, ate pizza and go to the beach together with my cousins.

In this small event, but full of amazing moments, I found happiness during a holiday by appreciating the little things in my life. MY REFLECTION DURING THE SECOND QUARTER

During our second quarter, I learned about HTML tags and files. Learning about this helped me with a basics knowledge of how websites are developed and structured. It helps me grasp the structure of webpages, especially tags and coding. It showed me the necessity of presenting information in a clear and legible manner.

I learned about how to use tags and codings on how to organize data, which helped me understand how to communicate information neatly. Using tags helps to improve the structure and accessibility of online pages. I noticed that using semantic tags correctly makes websites easier to explore, particularly for people who use screen readers. Despite issues with syntax mistakes and tag the use of layering I gained confidence via practice

Learning all of about these HTML tags in the second quarter was a big experience that i gained more knowfor me. It offered me a good foundation for knowing how websites work and the ability to design my own web pages. The ability to structure text, add multimedia, and ensure accessibility has taught me the value of clear and intelligent design. As I improve my skills, I'm curious to see how HTML interacts with other technologies to create ever more advanced online projects.
